Re: Has anyone "chipped" their CX yet?
Because their was still quite a lot of space under that huge CX-3's beautiful curvy bonnet, we've replaced our Mazda standard petrol lump with a 427 cubic inch V8 with supercharger - and am currently hitting quarter mile figures of 3.2 seconds running on Nitro-Methane. Wheel spin still needs sorting...

Re: Zoom Zoom magazine.
Zoylander, if you're asking for opinions, then I find Mazda's quarterly magazine quite interesting actually. For those that haven't yet read it, the latest edition features a layman's overview of Mazda's revolutionary Skyactive-X 'diesel-sort-of-petrol' combustion engine. It sounds brilliant. I like...

Re: Distance to empty
If, like us, you invested* in a 2015 CX-3, the estimated distance you can still drive (until you have an 'empty tank') is automatically shown on the dashboard fuel gauge. No need to do anything. Reading between the lines, perhaps Mazda have made things more complicated since then. *invested - deprec...

Hi & welcome Pottsy. AWD CX-3's on this forum are quite rare - so will be interesting to hear how you get on.

Re: Car cleaning
Zoylander. We'd dream of having a heated insulated workshop. Luxury.
(Feel a bit of Python's Four Yorkshiremen sketch coming on here . . . .)
Good for you - and thanks for the reply.
PS There is, however, a downside to living near a village duck pond. Think grey long-tailed vermin with teeth!

Re: Car cleaning
The best protection for the bodywork is a garage - There they all were this morning [the neighbours], scraping the frost off their windscreens while I got the car out of the garage and drove away. Zoylander. Wait until (one day perhaps) you invest in a quintessential English stone built cottage, in...

Re: Sept.’17 Sat Nav Update
You know, come to think of it, we don't believe any Sat-Nav update has ever been done to our CX-3. We are still amusingly entertained by the screen showing that your car is travelling across grey 'undiscovered' barren fields of nothingness (where they actually have now built an enormous by-pass arou...
