Re: Locking/Unlocking the doors

If the car loses connection with the key then it may think you've walked away and will lock the doors. I haven't tested, but I don't think it will auto lock if the ignition is on or the engine is running though. Keep the key on you, and not in your handbag, glovebox or the centre console. You can al...

Re: DPF Issues?

Mine's done 37,108 and although it will be doing regens, to be honest I never notice them, so can't help you on the frequency. It seems unusual that yours should be doing a regen. after a long motorway run, as by then everything including the exhaust will be up to temp. The radiator fan would come o...

Re: USB tracks not showing artist or album

No, not had that issue Santa. Have you tried the other USB port?
It may be worth copying some tracks to another memory stick and testing with that.
Has your dealer updated the MZD Connect software recently?

...I'm assuming if you accidentally leave the key fob in the car the car will always be unlocked?... If the key fob is left in the following areas and you leave the vehicle, the doors may be locked depending on the radio wave conditions: Around the instrument panel; In the storage compartments such...

No, it would require programming the body control unit and UK models also don't have the requisite buttons in the door armrest.

Re: Locking/Unlocking the doors

Hi TCVBLADE (Andrew) and congratulations on your new purchase. Assuming you're in the UK, as Strangways said, there isn't an option to unlock just the driver's door. From the manual (my emphasis) " All doors and the liftgate can be locked/unlocked by pressing the request switch on the front doo...

Re: Sat Nav history function

The info. you've been given about the availability of 70.00.21A software is incorrect, it's been available on the Mazda server to download and install for a few weeks. It's the version that also enables the long awaited Apple Carplay and Android Auto. The delay has been with the accompanying hardwar...

Re: DRL's

…Absolutely DISAGREE about the need for them. Had a Volvo in the nineties with them - brilliant idea! That post makes no sense as you're contradicting yourself. Sure, without them people can choose to turn lights on, but they make the wrong choice. You just have to see how many don't use any lights...
