Re: Is there any advantage os using a higher octane petrol?

As most are aware, there are comments on this topic elsewhere on the CX-3 forum. And by going on You Tube's myriad selection of videos on this topic, you can skip all my rubbish and drivvle that wot I've written below (Yawn). Disclaimer: I am not a mathematician, neither an accountant, but . . . . F...

Brum, those Xedos V6 were lovely. Bet you kinda miss her. Loved the little front nose and the grunt from the engine.

CX-3 Conquers Flooded Road

Although aware of the risks, our CX-3 was astonishingly good as it made it through a long stretch of 8 inch deep floodwater yesterday. Simply dropped it into 1st, maintained high revs whilst slipping the clutch, then drove steadily through it to avoid water riding up into the engine bay and penetrat...

Come to think of it, I can't be arsed with any CX-3 improvements - just let me have that beautiful 'Vision Coupe' featured in the latest Zoom Zoom magazine. Wow.

Re: What updates for the New 2019 CX3 would you like.

Good call MJC1216 . . . . Our CX-3 (bought from new) comes up for its 3rd birthday at the end of September. 98% of the car is just fine and we love it. With 2% that needs tweaking, here's our recommendations . . . . A less primitive petrol cap that simply locks and unlocks like the rest of th...

Re: Previous cars?

This thread is a lovely read. Thanks Rob for starting it all off. I see two members owned Vauxhall Victor VX4-90's. They're now worth triple what you would have paid in in the mid-70's. As for me . . . . Worst cars in order . . . . 2 x Ford Sierras (company cars) 1980s, Ford Orion Ghia, Ford Escort ...

The colour of your front plastic crumple zone matches the colour of the rest of your CX-3. How on earth can that be????

Re: CX-3 Rumour

I love it as it is. I wanted a small car, if I wanted something bigger I would have bought a CX-5. I think the 2 platform is fine, that,s what makes so much fun to drive. All I would like is a few extra HP. + 10 Strangeways. Leave it alone and don't fiddle (although, in hindsight, dropping a V6 2.5...

Re: Engine issue

Better still, try to remember to switch the damn thing off before moving away, unless of course you don't mind it. Good advice. Switching the i-stop off soon becomes as automatic as putting the seat belt on. Our fuel economy monitor says "i-stop has saved you 8.4 miles". Assuming this is ...

Re: Lane departure light

Lane Departure Warning Systems are, in our opinion, designed to alert those totally inexperienced drivers who have either (i) fallen asleep at the wheel; (ii) are rubbish at driving in thick fog (or snow for that matter); (iii) are drunk, (iv) have such severe macula eye problems that they cannot se...
