How many miles have You driven? It also looks at distance (as well as the time period).

The car has done around 5,000 miles so the mileage factor shouldn't be part of the equation.

It is a small light and right at bottom of the display so mostly hidden by the steering wheel. I know the annual service is due by 30th April so it did surprise me a little to be given the warning 7 weeks early.

I think that could well explain it. I hadn't noticed the crazy repeats until after the most recent update. I'll see what the Mazda MZD-Connect team come back with in replying to my query.

I tend to think it's intentional but they didn't think it through. The RAV warns once on approach and once more just prior which is fine.
