Re: Headlights on when home

Thanks for the reply, mine is an early 2018 CX3 and don’t think it has this feature sadly, Mazda seem late to the game with a lot of their technology, I had it on a 2013 A3. Have a look at the settings. My previous CX-3 was also from 2018 and if I remember correctly it also had Coming Home Light an...

Re: Headlights on when home

I am not sure if every CX-3 model has this option, but my CX-3 has both Coming Home Light and Leaving Home light. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMC3cC014tA The text accompanying this YouTube video: Once you shut your Mazda off, the headlights can stay on to light the way for your walk to the door....

Re: Fitting a new rear Bosch H306 wiper blade - help :)

I have the same windshield wiper for over fifteen months and 12,000km (7,500 miles) with no problems. Still wipes as new. The same problem more than once doesn't seem like bad luck to me. Maybe you often unknowingly wipes a dry screen? Using aggressive washer fluid? Maybe the seller had sold you the...

Re: TCS/DCS Advice

From one of the (many) manuals: Traction Control System (TCS) The Traction Control System (TCS) enhances traction and safety by controlling engine torque and braking. When the TCS detects driving wheel slippage, it lowers engine torque and operates the brakes to prevent loss of traction. This means ...

Re: TCS/DCS Advice

Mazda recommends that you do not disable TCS/DCS under normal driving conditions.
However, if the car is stuck in fresh snow, on slippery ice or in mud, it may be necessary to temporarily disable the system in order to be able to drive away.

Re: TCS/DCS Advice

I do not understand the relation between both (safety) systems and the fuel consumption. Under normal driving conditions (no slip or sideslip) both systems are passive. I may be wrong, but I don't think that the systems apply the brakes every corner. https://www.mazda.com/en/innovation/technology/sa...

Re: European Navigation Map version November 2021

I'd keep my fingers crossed if I were you. Knowing the way Mazda have degraded the frequency of the navigation updates over the last 3 years or so, I wouldn't put it passed them not bothering to provide further upgrades for older generation models at some stage. Bit like Garmin and others do with t...
