Start button sequence + Infotainment use

Maybe I'm missing something really obvious in the manual, but is there a way to stop the engine when parking up but leave the infotainment system on? At the moment when parking and staying in the car I stop the engine with the button, everything shuts down, then I use the start button again to 're-b...

Re: OS versions

Regarding the system re-booting itself I found mine did that on version 56 and version 59. Not all the time, seemed to happen in fits and starts. A bit of observation showed this always occurred just after or sometimes during import of contacts from my phone. I turned off 'automatically import conta...

Re: OS versions

I updated last week to the 59 version. No noticeable difference to 56. The Mazda upgrade guide suggests you will lose all favourites and paired Bluetooth devices but they stayed put for me. It worked fine for a day the started a loop of starting up , working for half a minute or so then re booting. ...

Re: What kit was in your boot?

Thanks for the replies. Thought I may have been short changed for a while but apparently not. Does seem odd having two towing eyes though??

What kit was in your boot?

Just had a first poke around in the boot and it seems my car came with two towing eyes, a hook with a screwdriver end, the repair/inflate kit and locking wheelnut key. No wheel nut brace and no jack in the cubby hole - is that correct?

Re: OS versions

Any noticeable differences with the new version? There seem to be reports with the Mazda 3 of various error messages popping up.

Re: OS versions

Seems there was actually a new version released a week or so ago, EU 59.00.443. No idea what has been changed, and I'll probably keep an eye out to see if any issues are reported before upgrading.

Re: Break down :(

It did have some extras put on at the dealer - front parking sensors and auto folding mirror kit. Would either of those have required a gearing disconnection?

Re: Break down :(

Good point. My dealer is 45 minutes away and no time tomorrow to make a round trip but I will be calling them. I wonder how many others have come off the production line like that?
