Re: How good is the auto 'box?
Although I have been a persistent critic of the CX-3's noisy unforgiving ride, allegedly improved with the 2019 face lifted version, the automatic gearbox is the best I have ever experienced. I am an avid follower of the motoring journalist "Honest John", and according to his website there...

Re: Low washer fluid warning light
Have we reached a time when owners no longer carry out even the most basic under bonnet checks?

Re: Turn off i-Stop Permanently?
I am old enough to remember "Clunk click, every trip". Turning i-Stop off has become as natural as putting on my seat belt.

Re: Tyre Rotation.
Unable to stand the noise and vibration from the original Bridgestone Turanzas any longer, even though they still had 4/5mm of tread remaining at 15,000 miles, I have replaced them with Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-2's. They were not cheap. I could have recouped a few pounds by selling the Bridgesto...

Re: 2nd Service
The service plan covers lubricants, brake fluid, oil air and cabin filters. Mot's and fair wear & tear items are not included. As the car is dealer serviced and then MoT'd on the same day, I would not expect any unforeseen expenses. At my age (72) peace of mind is more important than shopping ar...

Re: Rear ended today!!! GRRRR!!!!!
I have had two accidents in 53 years driving, and each time I was rear ended whilst stationary, so I feel your pain.
At least if it ever happens to my CX-3 there will be no problems between Mazda and my insurers, as Mazda are my insurers.

Re: 2nd Service
Cheers for the service plan info zoylander. Gonna call a few dealers re 2nd Service prices soon, and will ask them about service plans at same time. ps: Do they charge you any interest for paying by monthly D/D ? There is no mention of interest in the small print. The monthly direct debit is £15.63.

Re: 3rd Year Service
My CX-3 3rd year service in June this year, with Service Plan, was £186.90 incl.VAT at Eden Mazda Taunton. Needless to say I have renewed the Plan for a further 3 years, and the cost has actually gone down. See my posts on the Second Service thread, in which I explain the Plan in more detail. It rea...

Re: 2nd Service
I have just renewed my Service Plan with Eden Mazda Taunton for a further three years, payable monthly. Total cost £578.64 i.e. £192.88 per service with no price increases guaranteed. Surely a no-brainer? It depends on circumstances...i.e will you keep your car 3 more years,be tempted by another br...
