Re: Extended warranty

My MX5 will be 3 years old next month and I have been looking at an extended warranty. They did send me a leaflet and options for the three covers together with price options. The leaflet is very confusing as to what is included in each option so I have asked for clarification. As yet I have had no ...

Re: Chips with everything

Yes Andy and it's also illegal to drive while under the influence of drugs and alcohol and if you are not noticed you'll probably get away with it. That doesn't make it right does it?
Let's use some common sense and abide by the rules.

Re: Chips with everything

I agree that a small increase in power is unlikely to cause any issues, however no manufacturer is going to pay out thousands of pounds unnecessarily. Unless you can afford to take the chance it is best not to. With regards to insurance, it is only fair to yourself and other road users to make sure ...

Re: Chips with everything

Besides the insurance question DOES this upgrade invalidate the warranty. In theory it would invalidate the warranty, but I'm sure that dealers would use there discretion if it wasn't some sort of engine or drive failure. With regard to insurance it is essential that any modification is registered ...

Re: Spare Wheel

I didn't buy a spare wheel, but I did get a front wheel puncture. The kit supplied was quick and easy to use so I have no complaints. I changed both front tyres for Falkens as they generate half the noise of Toyo. If anybody needs an 18" tyre as a spare I will sell the non punctured tyre for 50...

House Spider has, but only 11BHP. I think BBR do a kit for 20+ BHP.

Re: Pre Owned tips

The Diamond Bright, has to be applied Correctly to have any longevity, which means a full decontamination, prior to application. My sister in law had it on her vehicle, it was a quick wash and applied one hour later the your car is ready madam. Six Months later it doesn't even bead, total waste of ...

Re: Pre Owned tips

PS I have been offered Diamond Bright treatment at £350 which I think is OTT and poor reviews. I also declined GAP insurance I don't know what the bad reviews on the Diamond Brite would be, I had it put on my MX5. So far I have no stone chips at all and I never have to polish the car. Just wash it,...
