Re: premium v regular unleaded

What the car sounds or feels like is irrelevant. It’s what supermarket fuel is doing to the internal engine components that matters. Before I get the old “using it for years” routine, you haven’t had a Euro 6 engine for years.

Re: Fuel notification

It’s no different than most cars, the fuel gauge doesn’t move for 50 miles or so. The tank unit is in the top of the tank so it has to use what is in the filler pipe before it starts falling/changing.

Not illegal but it was a recommendation and one that made sense.

Thanks JT.

jtucker. I’m not prepared to put the process on the forum because it is a special procedure. If you send me a private message, I’ll give you some contact details and we can discuss exactly what is going on with your car and then I’ll tell you about the forced regen process.

Re: Condensation on windscreen

Yes, they do sometimes do that if the window mists up. It’s normal and there is often a message saying don’t expect it to work until the windscreen is fully demisted.

The same could however be said for the coils which are positioned directly over the plug. However, as the plugs are the wearing parts, I would go for th...

Re: Condensation on windscreen

Blimey, I don’t do any of the above. Never heard such tripe as a special calcite for the exhaust, it goes straight down the back like most cars and opening doors or covering the car? Nah, just get in and drive. I must admit, it did steam a bit in heavy rain but keep the cabin filter clean and all it...
