Re: Beam deflectors
Are beam deflectors required for EU travel? - CX-3 (2017) As there aren't any guiding lines on the glass, are deflectors required. I can't find anything to help on the internet. Mazda did issue a Technical Service Bulletin back in September 2015 that applied to all their European range of vehicles,...

Re: Service advice and costs
I recently had the front pads replaced by a local independent shop for a cost of £114. The previous year I'd been quoted £225 by the Mazda dealer who'd carried out the yearly service. I declined then as the pads had enough miles left considering my annual mileage. This year's annual service was carr...

Re: Electric Parking brake. Emergency release
Hi again, Anyone know the the 2019-2020 CX3 has an emergency release facility if the parking brake won't release? I know of a lady who was stuck when the electric parking brake would not release at traffic lights. It wasn't a Mazda. :-0 According to a 2018 Owner's Manual :- "NOTE - The parking...

Re: Wing mirrors have a mind of their own
No and thanks, had tried a forum search but failed to find this. Dealer claims not to be aware of this issue with any other CX3, so interesting to read others have had similar issues and some dealers suggest its known about. Have you tried contacting the Mazda UK Customer Relations Team - email mmu...

Re: Update software
I have submitted short posts in order to achieve a minimum of five. I think this is required in order to send a message to another forum member. Have you now tried sending ASH8 a private message? You can do this via his information on this link https://www.cx3forums.co.uk/memberlist.php?mode=viewpr...

Blind Spot Monitoring malfunction query - user error see update
A couple of weeks ago I tried removing the passenger side door mirror glass so I could replace the front plastic cover that I'd damaged hitting a garage door jam some time ago ..  Unfortunately in the process of removing the mirror glass I broke it    I then unplugged ...

Re: Update software
Hi Is there a way to update the system software, now that my car is not serviced by Mazda but an independent garage. Many Thanks Hi Paul, If you are talking about the Infotainment software, then you have two options - either paying a Mazda dealer to do it or carrying out the update yourself. The la...

Re: Replacing Serpentine belt
Just looked on YouTube and there seems to be two belts. Crank pulley driving Alternator etc. The other belt drives the water pump. Think the video shown is the MX5 so don't know if our cars are the same, But have a look https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4flPe3HMxvc I have seen Cx5’s with two belts. W...
