Re: Updating sat nav system

You can. Although it is illegal. Searching https://www.mazda3revolution.com/ may give you a heads up. There is user to PM and ask for help; Filmi or something close. On the other hand would you prefer active voice re-routing, together with a variety of alternate routes to choose from as faster route...

Re: Tyre replacement

I've just gone for 4 Continentals on my 2015 Nav Sport AWD as the original Freyos had perished from lack of use in lockdown. I am very happy to find them much quieter than the originals. If you have a 2 litre engine I wouldn't want to trust an £80 tyre.

Re: Android Auto on a CX-3 ?

I wondered if Android Auto is supported as an app on the connect system? The Android site lists CX-3 2020 onward as compatible which seems odd. Or maybe there was a non-uk facelift to the CX-3 infotainment system about the time of the CX-30 in 2020 and maybe in the CX-5? Thermion Lots of informatio...

Re: acorn ding

Isn't the thinner gauge metal all part of the Skyactiv design philosophy?- Exactly! What is the purpose of carrying around a tonne of steel you don't need? The engineering answer to dints is to add strength by corrugating the top in the manner of the old 2CV from Citroen. But clearly the car design...

Re: MZD Connect 70.00.367A EU N Firmware for UK and EU

These late 70.00.3xx releases remove all possibility of making a serial connection to YOUR CMU.

(Well, YOUR in the sense you've bought the car rather than leased purchased it.)

Re: Fob batteries

There should of been a dashboard warning icon for a while once the battery started to lose voltage. If the battery dies, you can open & lock the car with the auxiliary key inside the fob and hold the fob to the start/stop button to start the engine. No, no dash warning light. 2015 Cx3 Sports Na...

Re: Fob batteries

It is the inconvenience of the battery fail. Mine seemed to give no prior notice and just stopped opening the car and even starting the engine was problematic. If I had been in a remote region and needed reliability I did not have it. This is why I think it should be a dealer thing. Agree about the ...

I took mine to a small independent as recommended by the mechanic at Hendy Mazda! Cost a bit over £100 from memory. It is not a difficult process and doesn't take long.
