Re: sign recognition
I am under the impression that traffic sign recognition and auto headlamp dipping is included in the optional safety pack. Do you have this option fitted?

Re: Boot storage
I put a full size spare in as detailed in jt's article on this forum, suggest you read it. The inserts cost approximately £50 from a main dealer, haggle the price for a discount. The wheel should be installed first and the speaker placed inside. Installation instructions can be found on the web.

Re: Stopping engine with istop
As I understand it, the starter motor is not used to restart the engine after I stop. Check the web for details.

Re: Number plate
My Xedos 6 Sport had number plates fitted with adhesive pads by the dealer when I purchased it in 1996. The curve on the front was much the same as on the CX3. The plates were still firmly attached when I exchanged it in March after 21 years.

Re: Pre Owned tips
I fitted a full size wheel, tyre and inserts for £289 at the end of March. Did not bother with jack, the breakdown can change it if necessary. You can save approximately £50 if you omit the inserts. Wheel will not move, it is a very tight fit. Parts from main dealer, Toyo tyre from Protyre.

Re: Intermittent Spanner Light
Wheels are balanced off the car, rotating them should not make any difference. Advantage is doing it means tyre wear is equalized as front tend to wear more than the rear.

Re: Which options are fitted to my car min
It would be useful if Mazda provided a print out of the features fitted to each car. They are able to enter the VIN into their system and advise you if a particular feature is fitted to that model so why not make this information available to the owner. Fitted to some models stated in the manual wou...

Re: Handbook
Bit late in the day to comment on this but I have managed to obtain an Owners Manual which is not supplied with new cars but this book has much more information than the condensed version supplied with my CX3 Sport Nav in March. This version was not up to date anyway.
