Re: I thought theft was theft !
Would you happy to pay more tax in order to employ more police? With all the cut backs that have been made, it's down to priorities and ringfencing of money I guess. Outside mine for example, there has been tens of millions spent on cycle lanes, but thats a different ring fenced budget to the police...

Re: blue coolant light
I took the CX3 to work today a distance of about a mile; the blue light went out before I got there. My, albeit old, 2l Alfa takes much longer for the engine to reach normal operating temperature. Is it right that the blue coolant light should go out so quickly. and if so, how is this possible in su...

The infotainment screen is so ugly; it realy should fold/slide out of the way when not in use or required. I see it has received good reviews with much talk about the interior, but alas the big ugly screen remains a permanent fixture https://inews.co.uk/essentials/lifestyle/cars/car-reviews/mazda-cx...

Re: Considering a CX-3 for my next car
You don't say which model you test drove and I am making assumptions here. Is it not the case that the Sport Nav comes with 18 inch wheels and slightly lower profiles tyres which would be noiser. Are the other CX3's fitted with smaller wheels and bigger tyres, which will be less noisy?

Re: Previous cars?
Yep, still got the Brera, a bog standard 2.2 JTS petrol. When I bought her, I never expected to be able to afford her. She is not the most practical of cars but damn pretty. She is a great drive on the open roads and still enjoy her. Would I buy another Alfa - yes, but which one?

Re: Pre Owned tips
Having been sat around in my garage for a week she was all dusty, so gave her a quick rinse. None of the door frames were very clean! Have just contacted The Wheel Shop who tell me that the 18In spacersaver they have for an CX5 will not fit the CX3. I am sure the dealer told me it would; who is corr...

Re: tips
The cleaning stuff is pretty much common sense, though I had not heard about the window trick before. What about tips in relation to tech type stuff like auto closing of wing mirrors, trip computers and sat nav Etc. EG I didnt realise for a long time that my Brera windows would not close unless I pa...
