Re: CX3 Torsion-Beam Rear Suspension or multilink

I don't think Citroen suspension would fit in with the the Mazda design philosophy of Jinba Ittai. It is that design philosophy that makes Mazda such a great car to drive. WHAT CARS COMMENTS ON THE CITROEN SUSPENSION Citroën has gone soft with the C3, giving its wheels plenty of room to move in the...

Re: Mazda CX-3 iStop - problem or no problem?

the best thing is to turn it off as that's what most people do. its not needed and just a EU regulation for a so called environmental benefit which cant be proven. if it was a so called environmental benefit then cars would be fitted with led lights throughout and not halogen which waste energy. the...

Re: CX3 Torsion-Beam Rear Suspension or multilink

has anyone tried the Citroën suspension ? I tried back in 1974 the Austin princess which was a gas liquid suspension all round. it was very good but a pain after a few years with having to keep topping it up each week the new Citroën suspension is probably the best on the market today as the company...

Re: One new car sale lost - Is this now the norm?

my last car dealer has never asked me for my driving licence over the past 20 years he has known me. just a shame I have had to leave his franchise for Mazda as I got fed up buying the new rubbish he used to sell me and at the end of the day you need to realise that things will only get worse my ne...

Re: CX3 Torsion-Beam Rear Suspension or multilink

I didn't realise they were making a non hybrid version, but it's still not an SUV is it? I think you need to compare it with the Mazda 3 very true but for most people like myself it may not matter. I would have been just as happy with the Mazda 3 I'm sure coming from the Mitsubishi franchise for th...

Re: CX3 Torsion-Beam Rear Suspension or multilink

So what is it that you don't like? Is it the firm ride? It handles beautifully so it can't be that. I haven't said I didn't like it' I was just surprised to find out it had torsion beam which is only used on cheap cars to save costs. my cx3 drives very well and am very pleased with it but the corol...

Re: CX3 daytime running lights

It makes you wonder how we managed before we had DRLs. :D I do accept they are useful to have on the front. It is always helpful to let poor sighted people know you are coming and the lights help make it clear. As far as the rear lights are concerned I'm not really interested, it's not really relev...
