Re: Jerky ride
Yes Dr Strange - I think getting the revs right in the correct gear is exactly what the problem is. I've seen reports in other forums of exactly the same phenomenon, some say cleaning of the throttle body sometimes cures it (unlikely the problem in a car with only 10k miles on the clock) - or even s...

Re: Voice control
Thanks for responding JT, hopefully the volume trick sorted it?! Know what you're saying re fingernails but that's certainly not the problem with her and screens - skin sensitivity or something we think. I haven't looked into it yet, but I hope you're wrong concerning the voice training - she won't ...

Voice control
Past couple of weeks the voice control had seemed to stop functioning (although it works now!) on pressing the 'talk' button on the steering wheel there's been no " Enter your command after the beep" (or 'tone' or whatever) No 'beep' - nothing - have we upset the imp that lives under the d...

Jerky ride
This is directed to the manual gearbox owners on here......... Having had the car for a few months now we've found that when either gently pulling away or driving in slow traffic, the car has a jerkiness about it - almost as if the drive-train is catching up with itself! not a kangaroo bounce, just ...

Re: Front shock absorbers
A quick road test before buying a car I don't think is really adequate to 'really' determine if you are going to be happy or not - trouble is that most dealers will only allow a 30/45 min test drive including a quick blast down a dual carriageway/motorway - that's if there's one local of course! And...

Re: Front shock absorbers
From painful experience I have discovered what suspension the CX-3 has. Very little. The longer the CX-3 model is around the more likely the 'modders' market will introduce a more refined damper/spring combination - Australia and the US have other combinations available for sale but I can see nothi...
