Re: One new car sale lost - Is this now the norm?
So-as you can see from this site-the CX3 is a fab car--why not buy one without a test drive?

Little yellow spanner (wrench?) warning light
Booked my car in for it's first service on 19/3-as advised via paperwork.Purely by coincidence-the maintenance yellow light came on yesterday and has stayed on. How long before a service is due does this light show please? Should I try to bring my service forward ? Is the light a general time indica...

Re: Washing the CX-3... Behind it's ears.
Yes--but there is plastic trim on the inside on both front doors which picks up grunge bit time too? However-it needs to be said that overall--the CX3 is an easy car to hand wash with a couple of buckets of water( if you don't have a hose)......sponge off the roof, bonnet and windows with fresh clea...

Re: Istop not working
iStop is a temperamental friend and doesn't like it if the fan is on, it's a cold day, the car is not up to temperature and -yes-if the battery is overworking and undercharged. It might not come on either if you are idling, operating the handbrake or have your clutch depressed(manual gears) . Istop ...

Re: Are you worried about Keyless Car Theft
In summary and Just to be clear--what is the "flaw" in the system exactly. Can an intruder unlock a street parked Mazda CX3 car with their own devious "key" ,start up and drive off?

Re: SBS "OFF" indicator displaying
Dear jtonline Thanks for yr response on 24/12 and assurances. I agree with you. Since the 24/12-I have been monitoring this SBS light's behaviours and it is exactly as you say. I find it fascinating. What I have noticed is that when the yellow light comes on it is always AFTER the heat from the blow...

Re: Windscreen replacement
So--just to be clear--if you have a windscreen that needs replacing ( and you have insurance) on a Mazda cx3-you 1) Ring Autoglass direct and they sort the lot? or 2) You ring your insurer and get "diverted" to their repairer(probably Autoglass) and take it from there? or 3) You clear it w...

Re: Condensation on windscreen
Yes indeed-just spotted this one. Mine always mists overnight and the SBS "off" yellow light comes on till the cabin has warmed-usually a 7 minute drive does the trick. Anyone else get the SBS "off" light illuminating on a misty morning( I posted in decemberr on this getting a go...

SBS "OFF" indicator displaying
Can someone help me to more fully understand a little (more than the manual !) why this illuminates on a misty/damp/coldish morning and remains on for around 3 or four miles? --this is the yellow display-not the red warning display. The display did not illuminate during the summer months. I fully un...

Re: i stop start
Amazed that HouseSpiders Istop kicked in before the blue temperature light went "off".....wonder if that was in the depth of winter or a hot sunny summer morning?
