Re: What do you wish you'd ordered?

I didn't order mine new. I bought a pre-registered Manual Sport Nav 2.0L with 50 miles on the clock. Got it for £17,450. If I had ordered it new I would have gone for the front parking sensors. You just can't see where the bonnet ends. I have got the blind spot sensors on the MX5, but I don't think ...

Re: CX-3 What's missing?

It's interesting to see that others feel that a few extra BHP would be a useful addition. If I still feel the same when the warranty ends I will be paying the guys at BBR a visit. An extra 50BHP for £500 sounds like a good upgrade.

Re: Learning to Appreciate my CX3

Glad you stayed away from the BMW, they seem to turn drivers into 'Road Hogs'.
The CX-3 has a lovely gearbox and a very light clutch, so easy to use. I'm happy you are learning to love it again.

CX-3 What's missing?

Following on from Geejams best feature thread, what do you think would improve the CX-3. Up to three items, either something that is an option and should be standard, something that could be improved or something that would be a completely new feature. The three things for me are:- 1. A 'DNA' (Dynam...

Re: The CX-3's ONE single best feature.

I don't think there is a single feature that actually 'blows my mind'. The CX-3 is a good allrounder. However there is one thing that stands out for me, that no previous car has managed to provide, and that is an armrest on the door that is at a height that I can actually use. Well done Mazda! :)

Re: New CX3 Owner

The insurance covers the wheels supplied with the car, if it has to go away they pay a contribution of up to £150 towards the costs, which I think is very reasonable. I wouldn't expect anything more than that for less than £60 a year. That sounds like the policy I took out, administered by Premia S...

Re: New CX3 Owner

... I got offered a wheel damage insurance for £176 which covers any accidental scuffs and scrapes for three years. I think it is up to 6 claims a year. I decided it was worth having as I managed to scuff my MX5 wheels in just two weeks. Before you have to make a claim, check the insurance you were...

Re: New CX3 Owner

I see you went for the Sport Nav, nice choice, lots of toys to play with. I'm as biased as Gus :D Had to go for the sport nav for.................. Those beautiful big alloys. No other reason. I'll be going over speed bumps at 2 mph and parking 2' away from kerbs for at least 6 mths. Lol Yes the bi...

Re: Mazda Junkie

Hi Steve, there is no way I could be without an MX5 now, and not just for the summer. As long as the sun is out, the top is down and I'm off to the coast. Yes I am aware of BBR and for £499 they do an upgrade to 170BHP, which I think would be ideal for the CX-3.
