Re: Speed excess warning beep @ 30mph
As far as I remember, it's under Settings in the NAV screen (the option to the far left) and then under warnings (or something like that) - I have mine in Danish, so can't tell You what it says in English. But it should be under one of the menus in Settings on the NAV screen. Edit: Download the NAV ...

Re: Dashcam
I've installed a Thinkware F770 front and rear camera, powered via a Cellink B. Write-up here: http://www.jtonline.info/thinkware-f770-dash-cam-cellink/ :D Nice write-up :) Do You know for how long the dashcam can run on the batterypack when parked? I'm considering installing a dashcam myself (alth...

Re: Newbie with a couple of queries
You can see if You have BSM by looking at the side mirrors; in the upper-outer corner there's a slight difference in the glass, this is where the BSM will light up. If You ahve BSM You also have RCTA (as they use the same radars in the rear bumpers). If You have Highbeam control, there should be an ...

Re: Newbie
I also looked at the 500X prior to buying the CX-3, You won't regret it :-) You can switch on ignition without turning on the engine. If it's an auto, just press the start button once (or twice) without touching the brake. On a manual I think it's the same, just without touching the clutch. I haven'...

Re: Smart City Brake Support
Yeah, it's a bit strange that the engine has to be running to change certain settings, like scbs, lights, doors and so on.
I haven't seen my scbs in action yet, only the sbs which is part of the mrcc (adaptive cruise control).

Re: Smart City Brake Support
Is Your CX-3 the new 2017 or the older one?
On the older on, SCBS only works under 30 km/h, the new one extends this to 80 km/h (I think).
If You don't have the physical on/off button, You have a soft on/off option in the settings menu of the MZD Connect.

Re: Navigation Slow to Load
What version is your MZD Connect?
It could be solved by an update, if You haven't got the latest version.
