Re: Coolant light

Do you get a message in the infotainment system when the redlight is on?

Re: Unlocking Lights on

Depending on the model year of your car, you can't have lights on "AUTO" on the light stalk.

Re: Warning - 2nd Service.

This raises an interesting point that must occur to many CX3 owners shortly to end their 3 year guarantees. Many owners, including myself have done little more than 2000 miles since march-thus a late service doesn't matter a hoot unless of course Mazda insist the third and final "guarantee&quo...

Re: Range on Tankful

My 2015 CX-3 120hp auto has done 167,000 km with an average of 6.28 l/100 km, ranging from 5.39 to 7.1, mostly in the city and on countryroads.
I'm pretty pleased with those numbers.

Re: Possible CX-30 owner - Some questions

Hi Guys I realise that this forum isn't for the CX-30 but there may be some commonality. Just joined the forum as I'm going to be changing my car next spring and am considering a CX-30 AWD auto. My current car is a 2016 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid AWD but we don't need anything quite so big so I thought I w...

Re: Fob batteries

And a battery for the Mazda key shouldn't be more than £4 and it only takes about 2 min. to change it. Agreed, but they're probably charging for a mechanics time perhaps?? Still extortionate but other franchises would do the same I'd imagine.... and if they damage anything it's down to them to fix ...

Re: rust on underbody

Not saying it's ok it looks like that, in fact I think it's far to early for that much rust, but that's one of the reasons I (and many others here in Denmark) rustproof the underbody when we buy new cars. I had mine done when I bought it nearly 5 years ago and it's has no rust on the underbody. It w...

Re: Fob batteries

For 11 years I owned a Honda I cannot remember ever changing the battery in the key fob. I assume the dealer did it as a courtesy. No such luck with my 5 year old Mazda. Although this won't be a problem for all the lease purchasers out there I suppose. Average lease is 27 months they tell me. Did y...

Re: Tail lights on with DRL's

It's not possible to programme it on Mazdas, so I had my dealer install a small relay when I bought my car.
I imagine they've done something similar to what jtonline are doing.

Re: What's That Part Called?

There's even half a page in the manual describing how to change the numberplate light, it's dead easy :-) I've changed mine to these LEDs from Osram (they just fit): https://www.osram.com/ecat/LEDriving%20STANDARD%20W5W-LED%20interior%20lamps-Cars-Automotive%20Lighting/com/en/GPS01_1140193/PP_EUROPE...
