Re: Dealers disabling Mazda keyless system free of charge

Rather than disable the system FOC, Mazda should upgrade the key fob to enable it to be switched off FOC.

Re: premium v regular unleaded

Bought my CX3 2.0 manual new in January. Covered 3k miles since and averaged 39.8 mpg . Mainly town, shortish trips and up / down welsh mountains, so I consider that to be good economy. Long trips give me around 50 mpg.

Re: Hello and Advice

Hi and welcome aboard, I recently purchased a Sport Nav+ 2.0 manual. I'm so pleased I decided on this model over the SEL+. It has a really high spec and the majority of the extras are worth having, especially the safety related ones eg. the LED lighting system is brilliant and the HUD is especially ...

Re: Engine idle speed.

Thanks for the replies. I posted my query as the engine seemed to be little bit lumpy when idling. My previous car was a Civic petrol and ran at around 800 rpm at idle. I don't experience any associated problems though so I guess all is OK. Thanks again for the advice.

Engine idle speed.

My 2.0 petrol engine idles at around 600 rpm when warmed up . Am I right in thinking that seems a bit low? It has been the same from new and has covered approx 3K miles now. Any comments welcome.

Re: Forte additive query

Hopefully not too far off topic - I've just booked my first 1yr service and the dealer (Perrys) have recommended that in addition to the standard service that they include a fuel (petrol) system cleaner (I suspect that its some sort of additive). Just wondered if anybody else had been recommended t...

Re: Newbie from Nottingham saying Hi

Hi and welcome to the forum. A couple of members on the forum have owned MX5's and in some cases run both MX5's and CX3's. I'm sure they will provide you with the feedback you require. From my point of view the CX3 is a great all rounder. I'm think you will love it.

Re: 17mm locking Wheel Nut - 19mm Wheel Nut And Brace

Needed to remove a wheel yesterday and guess what- 21mm wheel nuts and the locking nut key is 17mm. Contacted the dealer who is sending me a set of 21mm locking wheel nuts / key. I believe it's the dealers that fit the locking nuts onto the new vehicles. So how does a technician fit a locking nut th...
