I have a November 2016 model and that has the HUD.
And no safety pack.

Re: CX-3 Sport Black+
Really useful comments thanks Srangways. I turned 60 this year so I do appreciate what you say regarding night driving. I don’t know much about LED headlights. I wonder if they can be retro fitted? I really don't know about that Rufus. If your old non LED headlights were okay for you then I'm sure ...

Re: Soul Red Crystal
There are some adverse comments on this forum regarding the soft paintwork. I have two cars in Soul Red (not crystal) and the CX3 has picked up more chips than the MX5. The MX5 has Diamond Brite treatment and I think this must give it more protection. It is a problem with all water based paint compa...

Re: CX-3 Sport Black+
I was 70 this year Rufus and the one thing I have learnt is that you will never miss what you never had. Keyless entry is good, but definitely not essential. Bose sound system is great, but obviously only when using high quality mp3 or better. Of course my ears are getting old now. Bose doesn't impr...

I would like to see firmer steering and progressive brakes like my MX5 and my old Alpha.

Re: Steering Rack
I can't help with your question, but that is really bad news. It is hard to believe that a damaged steering rack can be more costly to replace than the car. I think I would question that decision.

Re: Automatic Vs manual
I am over 70 and have driven cars with most types of transmission. Manual "crash" (1927 Packard), manual with synchromesh, manual with freewheel (1955 Rover), pre-selector (1952 Daimler), semi-automatic (Triumph Acclaim), CVT (Nissan Micra) and torque converter fully automatic. I would st...

Re: Automatic Vs manual
I have had many different cars, some manual, some auto. I love driving, I love using the gears, I want to be in the gear I choose and change when I want to change. That's part of the enjoyment of driving. Having said that I do have my MX5 for that purpose, so maybe, as I am now 70 years old, I will ...

Re: Battery size for key fob?
I bought a two pack from Amazon and it was delivered in a box that could have held two hundred.

Re: Dashboard rattle
Oh yes JT, that seat belt rattle. It took me so long to realise what was causing my rattle. I looked everywhere but the seat belt.
