Just noticed a tiny (pinhead sized) chip in the windscreen. Normally it wouldn’t bother me but it’s right in my eye line and now I know it’s there, I see it all the time. Has anybody tried the diy crack repair kits like those from Halfords? Do they work on such a small chip?

I had one on the passenger side that I had fixed on the insurance by Autoglass - never used a DIY kit though.

Got in touch with Auto Windscreens who said they couldn’t repair it as it was too small!

I've just bought a Rain-X kit from Halfords. I think the weather is going to be cloudy this weekend, but if it's dry with some sunshine (UV light cures the resin) I'll give it a go and report back.
