The horn is so pathetic as to sound apologetic. I have heard louder horns on my grandchildren's bicycles.
A couple of Lucas Wind Tones as fitted to my 1970 Rover would be impressive, but I doubt that there is room under the bonnet.

If you have a look I believe Anchorman did this on his CX-3, iirc as he isn’t a gynaecologist he had to take the front off.

It is truly the one poor thing on this car.I would upgrade it but it looks like it's not that easy.

Darn it - I forgot about that when listing my ideal CX-3 updates for 2019 or later on another thread. Perhaps they've already catered for this on their recent upgrades and it now sounds a little more like a decent fog horn :) Oh for the days when air horns were legal ;)

Highway Code: "A horn should only be used when warning someone of any danger due to another vehicle or any other kind of danger, and not to indicate your annoyance."

I have to admit to not always following that advice, but nevertheless I don't use the horn very often. Perhaps I would if I did city driving.

Pretty sure the stock horn is loud enough to be heard, but would probably have been better if it was pointing forwards rather than down.

When a 40 ton truck starts pulling out into your lane without any indication and with your outside lane blocked by passing cars, it's would be nice to be able to let off a short louder beep - rather than a comparitively quiet mouse like squeak - so they hear it and pull back in rather than you having to hit the brakes smartish :)

I agree with zoylander horn is embarrassing .. If not actually dangerous. What are Mazda thinking ? Surely there must be an easy upgrade out there ?
