I just plug in my USB-stick in my Windows laptop and copy the folders, with the music I want to hear, to it.
And it's formated in FAT32.
USB tracks not showing artist or album
I have had the same problem since the Mazda connect upgrade at the first service last month.
Track names show up as ".jpg" and artist as "unknown".
I tried updating Gracenote, the latest one downloadable via the Mazda link is "oct17.up", and when I try to load that into the system it wont take it, the message displayed is that "no newer update found", so i assume that the "oct17.up" is the latest one.
I have put my music on a newer formatted USB stick but it makes no difference.
Its not a big deal, the music still plays but when cars come loaded up with so much interconnected software, it would be helpful and less frustrating to owners if it all worked properly, and that Mazda regularly informed its dealers and its customers about how to rectify these niggling glitches.
