Does anyone else with the all wheel drive find that it’s one hell of a bouncy ride? I live in the countryside and the roads around here are hideous and although my main route to work and town is fairly flat and on ok ish roads once I really get on to the back roads it’s like being in an old bus. Today my husband sat in the back while we did an hours drive to a place right out in the sticks and he said it was awful. I have to go really slow over speed bumps otherwise the bounce is just awful and I’m not a fast driver by any means. Anyone else or just me?

Is it a new car? If so check the tyre pressures, dealers are well known for delivering cars with highly inflated pressues.

It’s coming up 2 years old. It’s way too bouncy for it to be tyres.

The CX-3 is renown for it's pretty stiff ride, just read almost any review on it on-line. I doubt the 4 wheel drive suspension is any different to the 2 wheel version?

Sounds like a problem with the shock absorbers. Get it checked by your dealer.

I assume it's under warranty so get it checked out by your dealer!

Thanks guys. It’s due it’s 2nd service in October so I’ll get them to check the shocks out then. I once had an escort with broken springs and it’s a very similar ride to then.

Let us know the results - if it's not just down to the hard ride of the car.👍

I am running 38 psi on all tires .
Over time Under inflated tires will cause side wall cracking and un even tread wear.
Remember you can not tell correct tire pressure by just looking at the tires.
Worn out shocks cause side to side sway and bounce with high milage older vehicles .
long term parking facing in the same direction relative to the sun causes tires ,paint work, and seat upholstry to de grade.
The CX3 has over 100 inch wheel base , by that you should get a great ride, however you have a" Sport " U.V.
