Has anybody found a decent alternative to the OEM wiper blades yet, they look to be around £35 for a pair (front), most popular alternative appears to be Bosch at £12, but dont know if they are direct replacement. Anybody gone down this route yet?

I've had the Bosch Aerotwin flat wiper blades on my windscreen for a few months now. They've been very good so far.

I got AR18U and AR22U from my local Halfords store and I fitted them straight out of the boxes.

Every little bit helps, no mater how small.

For some time now and on my previouse cars I have been lifting / parking the wiper arms up when my vehicles are not in use, this prevents the sun from curling the blades and reduces blade streaking.

I used to block the arms up a few inches /cm that failed as i often forgot to remove the blocks.

This solved another problem on occasion I have found sand and road junk stuck to the blades which caused damage to the blade .

I am going to sit in the back seat and count some parking money.

I also use Bosch Aerotwin, they always win the wiperblade tests. They are direct fit is no adaptors to fiddle with. They are very good no streaking, judder, and are quiet.superior to the ones fitted by Mazda.

Fitted the areotwin blades, nice and easy. Performing well too. Just a bit disappointed with the look, the OEM blades have quite a pronounced wing look to them, which the Bosch don't. Might look to source just the blade and swap them. No rush now that the Bosch are fitted.

Hi All,

I have just fitted Bosch Aerotwin flat wiper blades on my windscreen, great wiper blades but do not match the 'Wing effect' of the OEM blade.

I note that the OEM blades are made by Mitsuba and the refills are available from https://www.wiper-blades-refills.co.uk/ ... ubber.html

Or here https://www.limpia-parabrisas.es/911-es ... -mazda-cx3

I have kept my originals and will give them a try when the Bosch wipers are worn out.

I highly recommend Denso Hybrid wipers. You can get them from Eurocarparts with 50% off on Wednesday’s and they are original fit on the CX5. They look very similar to the original lobster back design of the original blades.
