I've connected my phone ok and got my contacts across and can take calls.

I couldn't at first with my iPhone. In the end, I was advised to go into the Bluetooth menu and allow notifications. I'm not sure about your android device but I would suggest it is withholding messages so have a dig in the options and see if you can find how to allow them.

I also have an old Samsung (GT-S5830i) using Android 2.3.6; it won't show texts on the MZD screen and there is no option to allow notifications so it's either a new phone or put up with it.

I wonder if anyone has tried a Windows phone in their CX-3 yet?
