Has anyone experienced the annoying petrol pump clicking off before the tank is full with their Mazda, last fill it did it at 3/4 full. Haven't yet reverted to twisting the pump around or not inserting it fully etc.

Never got much more than 40 litres in mine, despite range stating 5 miles. Gauge says full.
No idea if missing 8 litres is lurking at bottom of tank. Maybe I should take a spare can and see how far it goes before dying.

I find some pumps click off very easily, others don't, when they do I just reduce the flow on the trigger and can then fill it to the brim

I've managed to get about 44 litres in.

I do the same, and never have a problem filling right up.

Most I've filled in is 46 litres, that was after a 692 km trip.
I can't remember what the gauge said (it was back in dec 2015) but I'm pretty sure it said all empty.

Oh, and I've never at issues filling it up.
Always clicks off when it's full.

Just filled up today. Tank was empty - showing range left as zero. Managed to get 43.83 litres in. So according to the car specification I still had 4 litres (not quite a gallon) in the tank. Enough for 40 miles but I wouldn't like to push it. I'd completed 452 miles.

I managed 495 miles, with 12 left on the range, but it only took 42 litres

Disappointed as I wanted to crack the 500 mile range....

That is really good going. I haven't got as near to the 500 mark as you. I'll have up my game 😀

I reckon there's still about 80/100 miles left in the tank after you get the low level warning light.
