I'm hearing a noise when manoeuvring at low speed, mainly when parking. It's not a click or knock, more of a muffled rubbing, but the steering only needs to be slightly turned for it to happen. Only just bought the car, it's on 41000 miles and it's only just been MOT'd (Mazda dealer) so no worries about taking it back but trying to avoid a two hour round trip if it's "normal".

I can't say I've noticed anything untoward in the steering??
I'm thinking it's something to do with your power steering producing this noise, I can only find one reference to any noise here.....
