The battery was drained - it seemed the engine didn't switch off properly...

Istop must have kicked in when i put handbrake on and into (auto) park.....and i failed to notice the car didn’t lock as i walked away..

Can’t wait to get auto fold mirrors fitted...

Edited re putting gear box in park...

Sorry to hear that.
You should put it into Park when you leave it, not Neutral.
Set the walk away locking to beep so you can tell it's locked as you walk away without having to look at the car.
Not sure if i-stop would drain the battery - never tried, but the car has a timer which turns off the ignition under normal circumstances after about 20 mins if it's left on with the engine not running.

Thanks JT

I meant park, not neutral....

Hopefully an overnight charge will sort it out...

It's worth getting the battery checked...although your car is only 3 years old it is possible the battery is on it's way out.

After a 60 mile drive home and 3 hours on my optimate trickle charger last night, all seems ok.

The battery showed fully charged and the stop start worked within 3 miles of leaving home this morning.

Fingers crossed the battery remains healthy.....
