I am happy to read that you are glad you didn't have paid for the built-in sat nav :-)

In my turn, I am more happy with the built-in sat nav then I was before with my Garmin device. I like how it mutes the music when speaking route directions and showing directions in the head-up display. Also no loose cables, no device attached to the wind screen. No need to take it in- and out of the car to prevent from being stolen.

BTW: it wasn’t a “problem” with the Mazda sat nav, but a case of RTFM ;-)
