lock warning light

Whenever the passenger door is opened and shut with the engine running, the red key with '!' illuminates.
The manual says to take it straight to a dealer as when the engine is switched off it may not start again.
However, it did restart and the fault cleared and reset.

Any thoughts anyone?

Could be that the battery in the key fob is running low.

I only ever see that symbol come on if the key isn't in the car, but reading the notes for "KEY indicator light (green)" it states that the key may be shown as red if the battery is low, the key is not within operational range, the key can't be detected as it's in a difficult location to find(think inside of a handbag for example) or there is another key with a similar remote start feature within the car.
