Went to start my car today...........Nothing. I checked round.. Obviously I had the key in my pocket or I wouldn't have got in.
I tried a few more times with no result. I then had an idea. I got the transponder out of my pocket, and put it back into my pocket. Result.. it started first time!
Is it possible for a few coins to block the signal from the transponder, which is what I thought the problem might be? I've never had this problem before, with or without coins in my pocket!!! !

It does say in the Owner's Manual that the transmitter may not function if "...The key is carried with communication devices such as cellular phones. The key contacts or is covered by a metal object..."
It may also be a good idea to replace the battery in the transmitter with a new one.
