does anyone have any experience of getting a bird stain dull grey mark off my shiny black fender? the stain would only be around 12 hours max as the car was fully cleaned on Thursday and I only noticed this Saturday morning and it wasn't there Friday night that I do know. all I've done so far is to remove the bird poo with a kitchen towel and rub it over with some specialist car wax (G360) and that's it. I'm most surprised that the mark left is so difficult to remove
thanks

A bit odd I've managed to clear it. well, that just goes to show if at first you don't succeed then try again. I'm wondering as the fender was hot if that has made a difference? (G360) is by far the best for an excellent wax and shine. very expensive though. I was lucky as my Bodyshop gave me a half litre for free a couple of years ago and have never got round to using it.

Next time, try Ultraglozz super polish, it restore paint and seal with chemical glass, last for a long time, -the best product i ever used.

I would have used Meguiar's Ultimate Compound followed by Autoglym HD Wax, because I already have those products.
P.S. Fender is an American term for what we in the U.K. call the wheel arch.

it's the black plastic trim that aligns with the roof of the car whatever that's called?
