Head up display.

Riding along in my automobile, (as Chuck Berry used to say!), I noticed that the head up display, that shows the speed limit for that particular stretch of road, was reading 48mph! This, in a 30mph area! I then turned into another road which had a 20mph limit on it, and the head up read 32mph!!! This has never happened before, so I was wondering if the laser beam was confused by a dirty windscreen maybe?? Anyway, I'll give it a good clean and try it again another day. I've noticed one or two 'funnies' when the screen is dirty or there's heavy rain about before, but not come across this anomaly. Anyone else had this happen??

30 mph = 48 km/h
20 mph = 32 km/h

Yes hsdejong, you've hit the nail on the head! I took the car out again for a rare drive and noticed the same problem. I then realised that it was showing my speed in kilometres!! I've now converted it back to mph, but the question arises. How on earth did it manage to change from miles to kilometres in the first place when I haven't touched anything that could have caused the problem? Maybe the cars protesting about not being driven much these days!!!
