I have a 2015 cx-3 2.0 petrol with 22k on the clock.
It is currently in the garage with a heating issue, when you drive it the heating is warm (not hot) and when stationary it's cold.
They have replaced the water pump and thermostat and now telling me it's the matrix.
Is there a common fault or any knows issues before a give the go ahead for a new matrix.
Thanks in advance.
Heating
I would do a citric acid flush of the heater core. There is a known heater performance issue on the CX-5, (resolution instructions attached for info.)
Not sure if it affects the CX-3 also, but it's worth a try before going to the extra expense of a new heater core.
