Either that or maybe a faulty battery.

My local garage mechanic has told me that it was the rear ABS sensor, and I have been quoted a price from my Mazda dealer of £54.09 inc VAT and delivery for the part. Is this a decent price?
TIA

Depends on the part number they've quoted to supply. For example
