no not that either as when I shop I only have one car fob on me anyhow. does anyone know where the receiver is that picks up the signal? I was thinking a bit of dirt but that wouldn't make sense. it's under warranty I'm told but some of the staff say it's not. typical dealer

Hi fourbanks - did you resolve your keyfob problem as I am having the same issue, keyfob won't open the car (but will lock it strangely) and the door buttons only work something like on in ten goes. Have changed the keyfob battery and that has made no difference.

Car is 2016 reg (Sport Nav AWD), I have owned for 2 years.

Thanks, Chris

hi Chris.
for some odd reason, it was my new battery that may have been defective or I had not installed it as I should have. I've used another Duracell battery and it's all now working as normal. i would try again with a new Duracell battery and see how it goes
good luck :)
