Iirc the manual states the fob battery 'should' be changed yearly?!
16 plate 2L Petrol, 120bhp Soul Red Sport Nav...

In my Honda ownership days the garage changed the fob battery, for free, at each annual service.
Mazda paint is crap! Mazda should be ashamed of themselves!.

For the cost of an annual service these days, all dealers should change it for "free" as part of the cost. My Mazda dealer wanted around £20 to supply and fit the battery as an extra cost at the last service. I declined and did it at a cost of less than £1 for the battery and 5 minutes of my time!
