Phone contacts

Try going into any social media apps you have on the 'phone (Facebook, LinkedIn etc) and remove any syncs set up to your contacts. Turn the 'phone off/on and remove/reinstall Bluetooth pairing with the car and then try syncing your contacts list again.

I have just purchased my CX-3 Sport NAV and my SIM contacts are not transferring from my Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, although my phone contacts do.
From previous posts it appears that other members have had similar issues, but not sure how it was resolved. Any thoughts please?

I'm using an iPhone. The problem with Android is there are too many OS variations between phone manufacturers/models.

If it's impractical to import your SIM contacts into your phone, you might try the free Phonebook App Trial downloadable from Google Play

I'm not sure if that'll fix the issue for you, but if it does you can buy the full version also on Google Play.

There have been plenty of posts on the Android forums over the years about problems syncing contacts with cars over Bluetooth.

I still have this problem as my contacts cant be downloaded from a new Sony mobile.

Have you remember to set SMS and contacts to "on" in Bluetooth menu on both the phone and in MZD menu ?

All ok now i hadn't ticked the box on the mobile
