I had the condenser replaced on my vehicle this Tuesday and on collection the dealer stated that Mazda had just issued a recall notice for this item.
On my service receipt it states " Recall - AJ017A - condenser replaced "
This was with TW White in Byfleet.
So far the replacement is working nicely & keeping us at just the right temperature!

That’s correct, mine has been recalled, it was booked it to be looked at on 14th May but they called the Saturday before to say they would order the parts and just get it done, it’s booked in now for 4th June. It failed back at the beginning of April.

It is the information that Mazda send to the dealers explaining faults and how to fix them, they have to follow the tsb to the letter so that they are then paid by Mazda for the work done.

After the visit to the dealer and feeling something of a clot, it turns out that the air con only works efficiently if; 1) the fan is NOT set on Auto and ; 2) the dial IS set to the re-circulation mode. Then you do get something like a proper chill!!

You are not a clot. I have to disagree with your dealer. My CX3 and MX5 air con works perfectly when in auto and not on re-circulation. I do accept that when the ambient temperature is above circa 25 degrees it will keep the cabin cooler on re-circulation, but not by much.
