First thing I want to say is this must be the quietest forum I've ever been involved with, we either have a great car or a very rare one

I sympathise with your frustration Deep Blue, I would be very tightly wound by now, I hope your issue is resolved soon

I would be interested to know what dealer you have been using deep blue ?

Are they located in London / South East as mine has to go back in again for a cloudy head up display ?

I agree Deep Blue . . . . (And Peter 55)

This is a very quiet forum. Reckon most CX-3 owners have never had a car like it and think their 'beast' is the kippers knickers! (See my comments below re: forums)

We traded in my wife's '52 plate Mini Cooper S (one of the first ones off the production line - the one with the supercharger, not the later turbo) for the CX-3. Reason: We both drive hard and like sporty handling. The CX-3 was the stiffest set-up with 'grunt' - plus it's beautiful to look at.

My previous car was written-off - but I was a member of a lively forum with hundreds of posts every day. Here's my last post with them after the write-off. So you can see we enjoy 'fast'.

The other forum's 'livelier' but skewed towards Colonials.

The last car forum I was on for my Volvo C30 died a death due to the amount of spam.

South East, it's Horsham 'Lifestyle Mazda'. I think the 'lifestyle' bit must be tongue-in-cheek! :D

Thanks Peter 55 I hope it's resolved soon too!

Regarding the forum lack of traffic, you have a point! I haven't seen many CX-3's on the road as yet, great car or not. Critics and buyers regularly rate Mazda's highly but let's face it Mazda are a small company, I guess the dealers are thinner on the ground and they don't have the advertising budget of other manufacturers.

Don't forget the forums here at cx3forums.co.uk are not endorsed by Mazda Motors UK Limited, and are not advertised anywhere. People only get to know we're here by word of mouth from site visitors, or if they are actively searching on the Internet and come across a link here.

:: UPDATE ::

Well, just thought I would update you re my aircon situation. As I have said previously I have been without my aircon since July. This was due to a next to useless main dealer. In the end I complained to Mazda HQ and they put me together with a different garage and I can happily say I have now got my aircon back! :P - just in time for the cold weather!!

Mazda HQ customer services were very helpful and they sent me a free service voucher so I get my first service free. I also got a free full tank of petrol from the original garage after I complained. So, all good... finally! :D

Thanks for the update, and glad to hear that you've got the issue resolved to your satisfaction.
Once mine was repaired, the dealer suggested I use the air con for 10 mins once a month to keep everything in the system lubricated.

Thanks JT - yes I've heard that too, I had a previous car where I didn't use the aircon much and that, apparently, contributed to it's poor performance.
I know the hot weather is fast disappearing but the aircon is also good for getting rid of steamed up windows so I think 10 mins once a month will be easy!
