Every time I try to log in, my email address appears where my user name should be. I then have to delete it and enter my user name manually. How can I correct this error permanently?

You want JT for that one. The only thing I can think of is that your device has remembered it that way. Mine doesn't get mixed up but I do have to log in EVERY time which is irritating.

Sounds like a browser cookies or autofill issue.
What operating system and browser?
Are you using a password manager?

I use Google Chrome 99% of the time, but I also have Internet Explorer installed as a back up in case Google ever fails.
What is a password manager? I am an elderly analogue technophobe trapped in a digital age!

On the login page, when you delete the email address and enter the correct Username and Password, make sure you click in the box next to 'Remember me' so that there's a tick in there before you click the 'Login' button.

Once you've logged-in, close Chrome then reopen it again and navigate to https://www.cx3forums.co.uk

If that doesn't work, try clicking the three vertical dots at the top right-hand corner of Chrome, then choose 'More Tools', then 'Clear Browsing Data...', then tick all the boxes and click the 'Clear Browsing Data' blue button. Then close and reopen Chrome and try this site again.

Having finally lost patience with the autofill function on my computer I disabled it. Now when I log on my correct user name appears at last!
