Hi all, Habu here. My wife is looking at a new blue CX-3 Sport Nav with stone leather and safety pack. Can anyone here please clarify do the memory seats also remember door mirror position? Also, what about door mirror position when reverse is engaged, is that remembered too?

Going for another look this weekend plus checking out a Hyundai Kona but the CX-3 really suits her.

Thanks for any assistance.

Hi Habu, you may be interested to download an Owner's manual and view videos on the Mazda UK website prior to purchase - see here: https://www.mazda.co.uk/buying-owning/p ... d-manuals/

The seat memory feature only alters the seat position and the height of the image in the Active (head-up) Display. The door mirrors are only altered by manually adjusting the knob on the door armrest.

I agree, it's a bit strange that the mirrors do not adjust. Others cars I have had do. I am tall, my wife is shorter, so although we can adjust the seat and HUD from the button it's shortsighted of Mazda to omit the mirrors as they have to be adjusted manually every time the driver changes. Makes the memory seat a bit pointless, doing half the job.
Car sold - but still following Mazda.

Well, wife ordered her CX-3 today, 120 petrol manual Sport Nav in Dynamic Blue, stone leather and safety pack. Car in stock at Rotterdam so 10 days for delivery plus a few extra for PDI, etc.

Dealer was adamant that UK memory seat function is only for seat position and nothing extra. He said it was USA spec only that did the HUD position in the memory. I told him the CX-3 forum says the HUD position is included.

I thought the deal was pretty good and it got even better when the sales manager said he'd forgotten to add the stone leather to my quote but he'd honour the price given. Threw the mats in plus ÂŁ20 of petrol.

Wife is trading in her 2014 Juke Tekna. She'll miss the Juke's 360 camera but otherwise she's really looking forward to the Mazda especially the LED lights, HUD and Bose.

Another question if I may: the standard spec has adaptive front lighting system but the safety pack includes adaptive LED headlights. Is there a difference?

Cheers

Peter

I think you'll find he's wrong.

Yes, there is a difference and your salesman should have explained it to you. The standard Adaptive Lighting System (ALS) adjusts the LED headlight aim left and right when cornering so as to illuminate more of the road ahead as you turn the steering wheel. The Adaptive LED Headlights (ALH) high-beam consists of an LED array divided into four blocks, each of which can be switched on and off independently. Using a windscreen-mounted camera to detect other vehicles’ headlights and tail lamps, the system temporarily dims individual LED blocks to control the area of illumination to avoid dazzling other drivers.

Many thanks jt. I was hoping the systems were as you've described it. So, the ALH is an auto high beam system?

Many thanks.

Even I'm getting excited. :)

This YouTube video from Mazda Saudi Arabia explains the ALH system: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUVyEimx4UI

Well the car has arrived at the dealers. Nice little touch of the video sent by email showing the car having just driven off the transporter. Wife will pick up this Friday afternoon. Having the boot liner and interior LED lights fitted too.
