Goodmorning,

i'd like to introduce myself: My name is Gert and i am from Holland.
Unfortunately in Holland there's no CX-3 forum, so i would like to join your club!
My english is not spotless but i'll do my best.

Since last thursday i am the proud owner of a 2016 CX-3 2.0 GT-M with automatic gearbox in the color Deep Crystal Blue.
Till now i am very happy with my first Mazda ever, therefor the Suject 'Mazda virgin'.

Because of change of work we do not need two cars anymore so we changed our Alfa Romeo MiTo 0.9 Twin Air Turbo (2012) and our Renault Wind Gordini 1.6 (2012) for this Mazda.

The CX-3 is a much more modern car and more luxe than the other two, which, of course, i like very much.
Following a list of cars i've owned:
- Mitsubishi Colt (1986)
- Ford Fiësta (1994)
- Suzuki Baleno 1.8 GTX (1997)
- Citroën Xsara Picasso (2002)
- Suzuki Samurai (2002)
- Fiat Seicento Sporting (1998)
- Mercedes A170 CDI Long (2001)
- Toyota Corolla Verso (2005)
- Smart ForTwo (2004)
- Smart Roadster (2008)
- Smart ForTwo Cabrio (2009)
- Fiat 500 (2010)
- Toyota iQ (2009)
- Alfa Romeo MiTo )2012)
- Renault Wind Gordini (2012)

The only thing missing in my CX-3 till now is center arm rest, i have ordered this item.
I am curious if there are forum members that have built in the arm rest theirselves and if it is a hard thing to do.

Regards,

Gert

Everyone!

I did it!!

Thanks to Mark and Anchorman (the one that posted the armrest-build-in-fitting-instructions originally) i did manage to build in the armrest myself!
A pity for you, Mazda dealer in Leiden, you're not gonna make a fortune out of me!!
I am proud of myself, i did it within one hour i think, maybe ten minutes longer!
Thanks again for your welcome, support, tips!!
Unfortunately my CX-3 has been showered with some heavily Sahara sand rainstorms, so he/she isn't 'photo-worthy' at the moment, but i promiss photos will appear soon!
Now i am going to sit in my car and leave my right arm (Yes, my steeringwheel is on your wrong side!) resting on the brand new, freshly build-in armrest and just sit and enjoy!

Later!

Gert

As promised: Pictures!

Unfortunately the side you don't see on the pictures (drivers side) has been damaged wit some small dents... I believe, i can't imagine an other cause, it has happend in the carwash this morning, but there they keep saying that isn't possible...

I am sad and angry, but fortunately next Saturday the CX-3 will be having a 'spot-repair' and hopefully the damage will then be (almost) gone...
