Hello All,

I have recently purchased a CX3 2015 (UK). My car is currently running on V51 (ancient, I know) I have been doing some reading and have a few questions :)

- Is it true that updating the FM to beyond V59 makes it harder to install tweaks?
- If so where can I download V58?

My main reason for wanting to install tweaks is disabling beeps, warning and disclaimers, installing AA and casting.

Thanks in advance!

Best,
Mb

Yes, from MZD-Connect OS version 59.00.502 onwards the unofficial tweaks process is more complicated than it is for earlier versions.

The OS files and update procedure are not officially released by Mazda to the general public, only to authorised servicers who pay for access.

However, you can find the files for different versions uploaded illegally to websites. For example, there's a thread on the subject at https://mazda3revolution.com/forums/201 ... -read.html

The OS update procedure is fairly straightforward, but be aware that you have to follow the instructions very carefully and choose the correct version for your country. If you don't get the procedure correct, then you run the risk of stopping your MZD-Connect system from working and it will be a very expensive item to replace.

I can't comment on the tweaks process because I've never done it.
Julian.
