If you don't go for a Sport Nav you will have to put the MX-5 in the garage!

We are selling the MX5 as it doesn't really get used and as I mentioned want to be able to park the new car on my property, will be great not having to find a parking space.
Just realised that when I reverse the MX5 in the garage now I only use the wing mirrors (takes me back to the days when I drove a telehandler on a building site and you had to rely on using your mirrors) and cope fine so I think reversing the CX-3 should be fine.

I was only referring to the small rear windscreen for reversing - the camera is fantastic for judging the gap at the back otherwise the mirrors and looking behind is fine, didn't mean to put you off your purchase!

Even with a camera on my Sport Nav, after a few decades of reversing in cars without a camera I find myself still using the mirrors by default. At least the parking sensors which are standard on a SEL-Nav or Sport Nav should give you adequate warning before you hit your garage rear wall! :)

Note: I'm not sure if the outside pair of the rear parking sensors would bounce a signal from the side walls when reversing in a tight single garage. If so, then there will be a continuous beep like I get when driving my car in forwards with the poorly positioned outside sensors on the front ones I purchased as a dealer option :(

Really appreciate everyone's help and replies, can't wait to get behind the wheel, don't know whether to go for the Dynamic Blue or metallic Red.
