Hi folks, new member here and got a question for all cx3 owners. Got our cx3 sport 2.0 auto in September 2019 from new in pearl white.. My wife and I love the look and the drive but there's two points with the car I'm baffled about. Firstly mpg is pretty poor just under 30mpg urban driving. Thought it might be because its a new engine but 1300 miles done now and still no better. Drive like a Sunday driver mostly but makes no difference. Also went back to mazda dealer last week to check drivers side window, when it's dropped to clear water etc it won't clear annoyingly. Never had this problem with any other make of car and past mazda but Mazda told me its the norm but I think its a design fault, sounds crazy to me! Thanks.

Welcome to the forums.
Your dealer is correct; by design, water on the side windows does not clear when you lower them.

Have you reset the average MPG since you bought it as for the first 50 miles or so it will have been shunted around transporter/dealer/showroom etc.

Hi Iceman and welcome to the forums.
That MPG can't be correct. Even if you haven't reset it as MJC says, I would have expected it to be showing a lot better than that.
As JT says the window not clearing water is a bad design.

Thanks for that guys, will reset the mpg and see what happens, as for the window not clearing water that's really odd. Cheers. Mark.

Treat the windows with UltraGlozz and they will always be clear.
