Hi all,

If like me you think that the boot illumination is very poor on CX-3 then can I recommend this LED strip light which I have fixed inside my boot, it uses a magnetic strip which you can place anywhere in the boot. It is sooo bright I love it and it can be easily removed to charge via USB cable, it lasts a long time too on a full charge. It has three modes off, light/motion sensor, or light on all the time.

At the end of gigs loading my drums into car now is so easy! Everyone comments on it.

Here is link if anyone is interested.

I changed the standard bulb to an LED and that made a big difference.

Talking of boots. Considering there is so much technology in this car I think it would have been a nice touch (excuse the pun) to have a self opening and closing tailgate. Not because I'm that bone idle that I can't manually operate it myself ( ok, I am) I just think it would have looked good.

I saw somebody just put their foot under the back of a car and the boot opened. Must have had a sensor underneath. I can't remember what make it was.

Still wish there was a matching light on the other side of the boot.
