I agree , but in testing ,and only using the key operation when in orange light mode the mirrors did unfold, trying to replicate

Then perhaps one of them was manually pushed out a bit by someone when it was parked which prompted them to unfold on powering up?

I am aware that the door mirrors can be set to fold automatically when locking but what about when stationary or moving slowly. As often happens when driving small counrty lanes it is necessay to fold the mirrors to get abit more passing room. Other than opening the window and folding manually I can't find any other way to do it. My previous three cars have all been able to fold the mirrors on the move (up to 10mph) so it's not something new. In my opinion it would be really remiss of Mazda to leave this out in favour of the pretty much pointless heated sterring wheel.

Any ideas folks?

Hi Andy, I have an idea! Lets swap. I have a 2016 model without heated steering. I really would love a heated steering wheel and I don't give a T**S about folding mirrors. The only time I have used them is when the sun was reflecting in my eyes. :D

I'd love the heated steering wheel. I have real issues with my hands when it's cold.

Many complained about the mark 1 CX3 and the power mirrors but I've got to say I love the fact that I can select when mine fold!!! Glad not to have this issue!!! Zoom-Zoom ๐Ÿ˜
